While unrestricted gifts allow the Foundation to respond to the greatest needs of Kappa Alpha Theta and her members, many donors wish to make restricted gifts designated toward a particular program. Restricted gifts are generally given for a purpose of special interest to the donor and are additions to an existing fund.

The following types of restricted gifts are currently available:

  • Friendship Fund
  • CASA
  • Grants
  • Scholarships


Restricted gifts to these funds provide educational and leadership development programs for individual members and chapters, and provide assistance to members experiencing severe financial hardship.
