Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation is pleased to introduce the four collegians who will attend the 2017 National CASA/GAL Conference March 11–14 in Seattle as part of Theta’s official delegation:

- Barani Maung Maung, Eta Mu/Occidental
- Faith Moses, Alpha Epsilon/Brown
- Rebecca Trujillo, Gamma Mu/Maryland
At this year’s National CASA/GAL Conference, more than 1,000 professionals and volunteers from the nation’s CASA/GAL network will come together to learn and hone their skills to build brighter futures for America’s abused and neglected children.
Several Theta volunteers and staff members will also attend, including Theta Foundation President Mary Ellen Fitzsimonds, Beta Kappa/Drake; Fraternity Vice President and Foundation Trustee Kimi Martin, Alpha Omicron/Oklahoma; Foundation Executive Director Kristen Kaiser, Alpha/DePauw; Foundation Director of Programs Gaylena Merritt, Alpha/DePauw; and Fraternity Director of Education and Leadership Melissa Shaub, Alpha Sigma/Washington State.
Theta’s participants will serve as conference volunteers and will attend breakout sessions on a number of child welfare-related topics. Additionally, they will present the 2017 Kappa Alpha Theta CASA/GAL Program Director of the Year Award.
