Call For Theta Foundation Trustee Nominations!

The Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation Nominating Committee is seeking individuals who understand that the continued success of the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation depends on the personal commitment and dedication of a select group of alumnae. Foundation Trustees recognize that it is a privilege to serve and are willing to assume the responsibility to lead. Each member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation Board of Trustees zealously advocates on the Foundation’s behalf, enthusiastically communicates the Foundation mission and vision, and plays an integral role in resource development activities.
Candidates may self-nominate or members may nominate a candidate. Candidates should be members of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity, available to serve a two-year term on the Foundation Board of Trustees, commencing July 1, 2010. They should be able to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Board of Trustees Expectations & Responsibilities. Review the expectations and responsibilities carefully before submitting a nominee or self-nominating.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, February, 19, 2010.
Candidates nominated by another member will receive an e-mail from the Foundation Nominating Committee as notification of the nomination. To be considered as a candidate, the nominee is required to accept the nomination by completing the online form through the link provided in the notification e-mail.
Candidates are to provide no more than three references to the committee. One of the references can be a non-Theta. A secure link to an online reference form will be sent to each reference and is due by March 5, 2010.
