The LeaderShape Institute is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1986, that is committed to developing young adults to "lead with integrity." During an interactive, energizing, and unique six-day program, collegians have the opportunity to participate in self-discovery and practical learning experiences that build leadership concepts and abilities.

For 17 years the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation has ensured that Theta collegians have an opportunity to participate in this important program. Members who participate in the program return to their chapters with leadership skills, countless ideas, and tools to implement them.

  • Undergraduate members in good standing with Kappa Alpha Theta are eligible to apply.
  • Preference will be given to juniors, then sophomores, then freshman members demonstrating leadership skills and interest.
  • Each chapter is limited to two applicantions and only one will be chosen from each chapter.
  • In 2007, 23 members were selected to attend the LeaderShape Institute
  • Sessions run from May through August
