December 1, 2015, is a day to Give to Lead, Give to Learn, and Give to Theta. We are on a mission to raise $100,000 (or more) to invest in the future of our Fraternity and the next generation of Leading Women.

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

This #GivingTuesday, Thetas and their supporters have an opportunity to give to Give to Lead, Give to Learn, a milestone campaign that through two proven programs—the Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) program and a new need-based scholarship program—invests in the future of our Fraternity and the next generation of Leading Women. With less than $500,000 remaining until we reach our $5 million campaign goal, every gift matters!

GT T-shirtStarting at Midnight EST on December 1, you’ll see Thetas around the globe who are inspired by the impact of Theta’s scholarships and educational and leadership programs working together and giving back for a full 24 hours.

The first 250 women who give $250 or more on December 1 will receive a #GivingTuesday t-shirt, but more importantly, will be helping us to assure that women committed to education have the opportunity to receive that education, even when they cannot bear the cost alone, and to assure that our young women and our chapters will receive—forever—strong, informed, peer-level guidance from educational leadership consultants.

Share! Let your sisters, friends, and family know that you are a #LeadingWoman every day, but especially on #GivingTuesday. In the weeks leading up to #GivingTuesday follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Our #GivingTuesday Facebook Album will contain the stories of women whose lives have been changed thanks to the generosity of their sisters. Encourage others to “save the date” and prepare to #GivetoTheta on #GivingTuesday.

We appreciate you and are here to answer any questions you may have. Read our #GivingTuesday FAQ for additional information or reach out to our team at
