Carryl Wischmeyer Krohne Leadership Grant

The Krohne grant was established in 1996 to honor retiring Fraternity and former Foundation President Carryl Wischmeyer Krohne (Nu/Hanover.) The grant is intended to further personal and professional development. 

  • Award Amount: $1,500
  • Open To: All Theta Alumnae
  • Additional Criteria: The recipient is to use this award to attend a leadership seminar in her own community or a workshop or training session offered in her career or volunteer field.

Eleanor C. and Frederick D. Hunt Grant

Established in 1994 by Foundation Trustee Florence Helen Ashby (Beta Nu/Florida State,) this grant honors Fred and Eleanor Conly Hunt (Alpha Theta/Texas) for their contributions to Kappa Alpha Theta. The grant is intended to support the Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) Program, formerly known as the Traveling Secretary program, which Eleanor helped establish during her time as a Fraternity officer.

Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter Grant

The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter established the Foundation’s first named grant fund in 1994 as a result of the highly successful CASAs for Kids fundraiser. The grant is intended to support educational or philanthropic endeavors.
