Since Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation was established in 1960, more than $8.8 million has been awarded to Theta collegians and alumnae pursuing their educational dreams.

Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation awards more than 225 scholarships annually. Several scholarships are restricted to specific chapters, fields of study, undergraduate or graduate students according to terms of the original endowment and yet many scholarships have no restrictions. While our scholarship program is impressive, there is need for additional scholarships. Less than half of the applicants who apply for a scholarship receive one. You can help our scholarship program grow.

To establish an Educational Scholarship Endowment Fund (ESEF) :

• A minimum amount of $25,000 is required to establish the scholarship
• The amount is payable over a 5 year period
• The scholarship can be established in the name of the founding contributor(s)
• ESEF assets are professionally invested and managed under the supervision of the Foundation.
