Note: The award amount listed reflects the most recently awarded dollar amount. If the fund has not yet been awarded, its projected award amount is listed.  Theta Foundation scholarship applicants do not apply for support from a specific scholarship.  A single, uniform application is required for all Theta Foundation scholarships.

Margaret (Margie) Mills Ruckert Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,325
  • Open to: Undergraduate members of chapters in Kansas
  • Additional Criteria: First preference given to members of Alpha Upsilon/Washburn, second Kappa/Kansas, third to Delta Eta/Kansas State
Margaret Killen Banta Graduate Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $2,075
  • Open to: Senior undergraduate members of District I chapters
  • Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of graduate study, District I includes chapters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Western Ontario, first preference given to members of Alpha Psi/Lawrence
Margaret Killen Banta Undergraduate Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $2,600
  • Open to: All undergraduate members of District I chapters
  • Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of undergraduate study, District I includes chapters in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Western Ontario, first preference given to members of Alpha Psi/Lawrence
Margery Dick Miller Memorial Scholarship
  • Description: Established in Margery’s memory with an estate gift from her sister, Jenny Dick Greenwalt
  • Award Amount: $5,550
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of graduate study
Mariam Morrison Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Open to: All undergraduate members of Delta Sigma/Ball State
  • Additional Criteria: Recipient must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
Marie Anderson Fitz Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,275
  • Open to: Sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate members and alumnae members of chapters in Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska
  • Additional Criteria: none
Marilyn Chesher Lynch Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $2,275
  • Open to: Alumnae members residing and attending school in Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas or Louisiana who are active members of their alumnae chapters

Marilynn Mitchell and “Beta Nus of the Fifties” Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,250
  • Open to: All undergraduates and alumnae of Beta Nu/Florida State
  • Additional Criteria: First preference given to undergraduates, second preference given to alumnae pursuing graduate study at Florida State, third preference given to alumnae pursuing graduate study at any institution
Marion Norville Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,400
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: Preference given to undergraduate members of Eta/Michigan
Marjorie Crane Schnacke Memorial Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,275
  • Open to: All undergraduate and alumnae who are members of Kappa/Kansas or residents of Kansas
  • Additional Criteria: First preference given to Kappa/Kansas members
Martha DuMars Davis Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,225
  • Open to: Junior undergraduate members who are residents of Kansas
  • Additional Criteria: First preference given to members of Alpha Upsilon/Washburn, second preference given to members of Kappa/Kansas and Delta Eta/Kansas state, third preference to members of any Theta chapter
Martha Wilson Clotworthy Scholarship
  • Description: Established in Martha’s memory by her husband, John Clotworthy
  • Award Amount: $1,200

  • Description: Established in honor of Martin and Roslyn by their daughter, Sharon R. Cooper

Marty Smith White/Portland Alumnae Chapter Scholarship

  • Open to: Undergraduate and alumnae members of Epsilon Sigma/UC-Irvine, Beta Xi/UCLA and Zeta Rho/UC-San Diego, and alumnae members from any chapter attending UC-Irvine,
