Note: The award amount listed reflects the most recently awarded dollar amount. If the fund has not yet been awarded, its projected award amount is listed.  Theta Foundation scholarship applicants do not apply for support from a specific scholarship.  A single, uniform application is required for all Theta Foundation scholarships.

Jane Brokaw Gallup Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,175
  • Open to: All Theta legacies

Jane Cooksey Cassel
  • Award Amount: $1,100
  • Open to: Members of Kappa Alpha Theta, first preference to undergraduates.

Janet Paine Peters Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,675
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: First preference given to a Theta resident of Southern California. Second preference given to undergraduate and alumnae members of Beta Omega/Colorado College. Third preference given to any Theta member.
Jeanne Ross Miller Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $3,625
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: Awarded for the pursuit of graduate study in the field of medicine
Jenny Adams Crain Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,125
  • Open to: Sophomore and junior undergraduate members of Alpha Theta/ Texas
  • Additional Criteria: Recipients must have a grade point average of C+ or greater
Jill Morrison Memorial Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Open to: "Model New Member" selected by the active members of Epsilon Zeta/Mississippi.
  • Additional Criteria: Recipient must be nominated by her chapter to apply
Joan Wagner Essex Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Open to: All junior undergraduate members of Gamma Iota/Kentucky
  • Additional Criteria: Recipient must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
JoAnn Crites Thompson Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,350
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: Preference given to undergraduate or alumnae members of BetaTheta/Idaho
Josephine Brossard Stansfield Memorial Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $2,000
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: none
Joyce Anne Vitelli Memorial Scholarship
  • Description: Established in memory of Joyce Anne Vitelli (Chi/Syracuse) by her loving husband to honor Joyce’s love of Theta and devotion to her work as chairman of the Foundation’s scholarship committee
  • Award Amount: $10,150
  • Open to: All Thetas
  • Additional Criteria: Preference may be given to students majoring in music or fine arts
Joyce Ault Cordon Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Open to: Sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate member of Beta Psi/McGill
  • Additional Criteria: Second preference given to undergraduate members of any Canadian chapter
Joyce Drew Toombs Memorial Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,125
  • Open to: Undergraduate and alumnae members of any Theta chapter in Wisconsin or Illinois, or Theta residents of Wisconsin or Illinois

June Longworth Hardy Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $3,075
  • Open to: Members of Alpha Iota/Washington-St.Louis or any Theta attending school in the Midwest
  • Additional Criteria: Recipient must an elementary or secondary education major at a school in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota or Missouri
