Note: The amount listed indicates the overall amount available to award from that particular fund. Grant funding is awarded on a rolling basis throughout the fiscal year, with award amounts determined based on funding availability. If grants from a fund have not yet been awarded, the projected amount available to award is listed. Like Theta Foundation scholarships, applicants do not apply for support from a specific grant fund. A single, uniform application is required to request grant funding.
Houston Alumnae Chapter/ Marilyn Chesher Lynch Grant
- Description: Established in 1998 by a gift from the Theta Charity Antiques Show of the Houston Alumnae Chapter in honor of Marilyn Chesher Lynch (Gamma Phi/Texas Tech) who served as a past board and president of the Theta Foundation, awarded for the pursuit of leadership training or non-degree educational programming
- Amount Available: $2,700
- Open to: All District 6 chapters and individual members of District 6 chapters
- Additional Criteria: District 6 includes chapters in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas
