Note: The amount listed indicates the overall amount available to award from that particular fund. Grant funding is awarded on a rolling basis throughout the fiscal year, with award amounts determined based on funding availability. If grants from a fund have not yet been awarded, the projected amount available to award is listed. Like Theta Foundation scholarships, applicants do not apply for support from a specific grant fund. A single, uniform application is required to request grant funding.
Eleanor C. and Frederick D. Hunt Grant
- Description: Established in 1994 by Foundation Trustee Florence Helen Ashby (Beta Nu/Florida State) to honor Fred and Eleanor Conly Hunt (Alpha Theta/Texas) for their contributions to Kappa Alpha Theta, particularly Eleanor’s assistance in establishing the Fraternity’s Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) Program
- Amount Available: $8,000
- Open to: The Fraternity’s ELC Program
- Additional Criteria: Awarded to fund educational components of the ELC Program
Ellen Bowers Hofstead Grant
- Description: Established in 1996 by Edie Hofstead Cabaniss (Delta Chi/Virginia) in memory of her mother, Ellen Bowers Hofstead (Alpha Eta/Vanderbilt), former Fraternity President, to support leadership training and non-degree educational programming
- Amount Available: $3,200
- Open to: All college and alumnae chapters,individual undergraduate members, and the Fraternity
